The Washington Redskins have waived WR Devin Thomas.
Thomas, a former second-rounder in 2008, was unimpressive as a pro. Posting only 40 career receptions, he was considered to be very inconsistent.
Every since Mike Shanahan took over the coaching duties, Thomas has been buried on the Depth Chart. Thomas was the team's kick returner, posting a 28.0 yard average (good for 6th in the league).
HB Keiland Williams will be taking his spot on the active roster.
