The Washington Redskins have announced the signing of HB Ryan Torain. Torain was signed off the practice squad.
He was the Redskins leading rusher during the preseason, but was unable to make the final 53. Torain was with Mike Shanahan in Denver, playing in one half before going on IR.
To make room for Torain, the Redskins have released WR Brandon Banks.
