Hey guys I'm back. This time to talk about NBA Live 10. After all the roster moves to date, I played the Celtics using the new look Bulls. While the game was about even after the 1st quarter, the Celtics gained an eight point advantage after 2. That was a little rainstorm leading to a thunderstorm as Boston busted the game wide open with an 18 point lead half way through the third quarter. With no one else to create for themselves, I began to give Boston a heavy dose of Derrick Rose. As I attacked the rim constantly. This resulted in shooting fouls, open shots, and momentum changing finishes at the rim. As I scratched and clawed at the 18 point deficit, I gained hope after withering the onslaught and being down only eight after three quarters of play. The question I was asking my self was could I find five more buckets AND maintain the lead. This question would be answered in 6 minutes of play. The opening possession resulted in a Ray Allen miss and a rebound by Boozer. I quickly threw an outlet pass to Derrick Rose who aggresively pushed the ball up court. While he was pushing I realized only Rondo and Allen had crossed half court. I did not notice how quick I flew by Jermaine O'Neal, Paul Pierce, and KG. So I continued to push until someone stepped in front of Derrick Rose. Once Ray Allen stepped up I fired a pass to Kyle Korver who had buried another three-pointer. His fourth in the game. He had played big up to that point and I depended on him to hit the open shots. Boston walked the ball back up court and Rondo's leaning jumper was off target. Noah grabbed another board and once again Derrick Rose recieved the outlet pass and pushed up the floor showing Boston's age was no match for the young athletic Bulls. I threw a nice freestyle pass to Luol Deng who finished with a lay-up. Thus cutting the deficit to only three points. Jermaine O'Neal had disappeared after scoring 14 first half points. KG however would pick up his slack and knock down an open jumper. I would strategically give the ball to Kyle Korver on the wing. This time I drove middle and passed the ball to a wide open Derrick Rose in the corner. Derrick Rose hit his 2nd three. Boston's crowd quieted as a time out followed suit. Derrick Rose was having a monster of a game with 38 points and 11 assists. With 2:08 remaining I only gave the ball to Derrick Rose to ensure ball security and to get the best possible outcomes of my possessions. I had notched two more assists with him. The assists going to Boozer and Noah. Boston still wasn't backing down. They had managed to keep the lead at 4 with 53 seconds remaining. After a couple empty trips for both clubs, Boston had to foul to stop the clock. Derrick Rose made five of six free throws to seal the deal completing one of my best comebacks ever on NBA Live. Derrick Rose poured in 43 points with a variety of buckets, tallied 13 assists with smart decision making, and even grabbed six boards, blocked two shots, and had four steals. All that and managed to have only 2 turnovers despite having the ball in his hands nearly every possession. Kyle Korver had knocked in 25 points. Noah and Boozer both managed to work for double-doubles. While Luol Deng put 11 in himself. Deng and Brewer did a wonderful job on defense to keep Pierce, Allen, Rondo, and Robinson from having huge games. Boozer finished with 13 rebounds while Noah notched 19. Taj Gibson managed to chip in as well.
