The Problem with FIFA online

I like FIFA games, they are not NFL or NBA fun levels but for the online play and stability internationally, it by far performs the best. I'm by no means good, in fact The highest level I have made any year is only a 5.
Which brings me to my point, the one thing that ruins the gameplay experience for me is when players, pull their connection at the end of a game so that if they are losing it doesn't register as a loss. As an example, the last 3 games that I have played I have been winning in the 90th minute only for all 3 of them to connection pull at the end/ leaving me to apparantly have never played that game in the first instance.
Even the versions from 10 and 11 at least even if you connection pulled would give the win to the other team if they were ahead at that point of connection loss.
So why no penalty for players cheating now? losing and playing people better than you helps you get better. I can only hope that in this years iteration EA will solve these problems/issues again.
