2K5 vs Madden

Wow if you dont have a copy of 2k5 you gotta be crazy for a game made in 2004 is well ahead of madden. I love madden but i must give credit to 2k5 they have half sacks, assited tackles n the best pre game to date before madden. EA if you need a copy of 2k5 i can get you one for real step your game up.

It's not only that. It is the gameplay that I like. The run blocking kills Madden because the blockers actually try to block and when you call a pass there is actually a pocket to throw in.

I've played NFL 2K5 for the first time only recently and yeah it's a pretty good game, but the lack of competition between 2K and EA have really elevated this game beyond what it really was. If you go back to the reviews between 2K5 and Madden 05 you'll find out that Madden actually got better ratings than 2K5 because it offered a pretty damn good franchise mode and had more to offer in terms of gameplay. Good game yes, but it isn't, and never was, perfect.
