With Starling Marte, Alex Presley, and now Peter Bourjos on the DL, the Pittsburgh Pirates have been quite busy over the last 12 hours. Earlier today, the team announced via Twitter that they have signed outfielder Grady Sizemore to a 3year/$1M dollar contract. Sizemore has been sent to Triple-A Indianapolis.
In a related move, the Pirates have recalled outfielder Jerry Sands.
