@ Pawtucket Red Sox - In a game that saw Gerrit Cole collect his 8th win of the season, allowing 1 run on 4 hits while striking out 5, as well as Brian Wilson collecting his first save in his AAA debut, the Indianapolis Indians got some bad news.
Jose Tabata, batting .187 with 2 home runs and 11 RBI's, suffered a fractured forearm. As Tabata will be out for 2-3 months, the Pirates have placed him on the 60-day DL. Darren Ford will take over the everyday RF duties.
