Very Slow = Defeat and a close game

I decided to try Very Slow game speed after hearing that the animations in the game look far better.

They do.

And the gameplay seems to change as well as a result. So I had to tweak the sliders more and am still in process of doing that.

In the meantime, The Colts ran up and down the field (yes, ran - Manning only threw 21 passes) on my defense and won 29-17.

I restarted the Franchise since update #8 came out for the rosters and got all I could handle from the Chiefs to win 27-20. Made three turnovers in that game, a pick and two fumbles. Again, the defense struggled against the run. No longer can I not just call anything and want to stop the run! Seems like I'll have to actually run blitz if I want to have a good chance of negative yardage. Anything less aggressive probably gets 3-5 yards - or more.

Looking interesting and good to see I might not have to do too much and still getting challenging games.
