BREAKING NEWS: BULLS FIRE GM GAR FORMAN

NBA.COM/BULLS

CHICAGO - The look on his face says it all. On October 1, 2012, 3-year Chicago Bulls general manager Gar Forman was fired, as per reports from NBA.com, ESPN, and the Chicago Bulls organization. The Bulls released a statement following this surprising move:

"The Chicago Bulls organization would like to thank Gar for his three years of work within the Bulls front office. He lead this organization to two straight years of continuing the Bulls tradition of excellence, by possessing the Eastern Conference's best record twice. However, culmunative events have shown us in the front office, that this was not the forward direction that this organization would like going forward. We wish the best to Gar and his family at this time."

The man himself, Forman had some critical words for this apparent hasty move as he exited the press conference, near tears as his family was by his side:

"For three whole years, as the general manager of the Bulls, I have given my heart and soul to this organization, to take it from turmoil to success. However, I respect the wishes of the Bulls organization and have no further comment."

According to sources close to the team, Forman's successor is 28-year old newcomer to the NBA scene, named Kenneth Williams. He graduated from Stanford University with a PhD in Economics. He served for two years under the successful program of RC Buford and the San Antonio Spurs, seemingly the Bulls match in the West: a team the past two years which had finished with the West's best record, yet fell to the same fate as the Bulls: a Conference Finals and First Round elimination. Press, media, NBA personalities and fans all showed their disapproval of this move, calling it "hasty", "impatient", "counteractive" among others, and many Bulls followers labeled this move in profanity. Only time will tell if the Bulls ultimately made the right decision, as they look forward to an early recovery of Derrick Rose. Williams was not availible for comment.
