LEU Guidelines
The Main Idea behind Lace Em Up is too add a lil twist to your online-league playing ways. However, the priority #1 is ensure a enjoyable GAMEPLAYING atmosphere. We stress sim-style gaming above all else, and are looking for a REALISTIC atmosphere. It will not take up too much of your time but can be a very enjoyable activity on your free time. Listed below are the factors on which players will be evaluated on.
Poke Checking
We all know and understand the importance of the poke check, both in this game and in real life, however, there will be low tolerance for people taking advantage of the poke-check. You must think of how often a player really uses it in real life, and try to emulate that. Changing to your player and immediately hitting R1 non-stop will get you a ticket back to the lobbies. I am not setting any limitations, just think realism.
Shooting/Scoring Styles
Clearly some ways are easier than others in NHL 13, however, I do not feel any of them are definite goals either. If you allow someone to be open in the slot for an extended period of time in the NHL, most likely they will score; same goes for NHL 13. If you however, continue to skate circles to wait for the opening in that slot opportunity than you will be removed. It is not realistic to continue to skate in circles with players in the corner, so please, do not bring it to these rinks.
Social-Networking Rules
With the factors of publicly ready material in our blogs and "tweets", there are rules that pertain to professionalism and realism. Blogs around the league do voice their opinions on team performance, player performance, trade rumors, etc. However, we will not allow blogs and the News Feed to be used for the attack of another owner. I will immediately remove you from the league, and also speak to OS Admins about using their blogspace for harassment purpose. Just remember, there is a not-so-thin line between fun smack-talk and harassment, and since nobody here is your office secretary, do not cross that line.
Advance Schedule
I will start the league with the following Advance schedules:
2 In-game Weeks to be played at a 4-day Advance schedule.
ex.) Sunday advance to begin 2 week in-game schedule, Wednesday evening advance to end 2 week in-game schedule.
More Rules to be added soon.......
