I think I need to share my thoughts, just for my own greiving process.
I don't know how many of you out there have gone through the Dying Process, or watched a love one whither and die before your very eyes,
First, I want to tell you about my cousin Louis;
Louis was always a loner. Never married, never in a relationship. But absolutely the single most thoughtful, intelligent, and sensitive guy I've ever seen. He taught school for 32 years. Universally ... Read More

Welcome Back Brooklyn!!
I wish I lived there.
Listen, If I had Season Tickets to the Nets, I'd be doing something...
There used to be a guy named Emmett Kelly. He was a World Renown Clown. In fact, you still see his likeness occasionally. He was a staple of the Ringley and Barnum Circus.
But he was famous for his homely Hobo Character. The sad little Hobo.
At one time he became the Mascot of the Brooklyn Dodgers... I.E. "Da Bum". In fact, if you've seen the ... Read More

I'm not sure how to frame this Blog without it seeming like I'm looking for a Flame-War. But my intentions are innocent enough..
Today, I was listening to College Sports Channel on Sirius/XM; And they were talking about the greatest venues in College Football. How great it is to attend an Ohio State -Michigan game, or USC-Notre Dame. Describing the electricity in the crowd, what it feels like to hear 110,000 orange clad Tennessee fans singing Rocky Top en Masse at the top of their ... Read More

I'm watching the clip of RGIII on that breakaway on Sunday.
Last year it was Cam Newton. Before that Michael Vick. At one time it was Randall Cunningham or Red Grange. What about Dion Sanders? Hershel Walker? Bo Jackson? O.J. Simpson??
Could it be LeBron James? Or Allen Iverson? Maybe Magic Johson or Dr J?.
Let's not forget Michael Jordan.
How about when Babe Ruth would step up to bat, or when Ardonis Chapman comes in to pitch? Jackie Robinson stealing home? Rickey ... Read More

With October bringing about the MLB playoffs, one observation is how far Baseball has sunk in the last 30 years, especially compared to the NFL.
It's the Post-Season and some of the participants have had trouble selling out stadiums that only hold 35,000 seats. Let alone the dismal TV ratings.. Last week, the Jets Monday Night game outdrew the Yankees Playoff game by almost two to one. And that was not only nationally, but in NYC itself.
But.... I am here to tell you that the NFL ... Read More

I read a lot of these dynasty blogs. I find them great entertainment, and a lot of you guys really put a lot of work into your Dynasty.
But a thought occurs to me...
What is the real point of Coach Mode in NCAA?
Everybody I read takes their favorite school and turns them into a Super Power. You see guys taking schools like Akron or UMass and winning twenty straight National Championships. I guess there's a certain thrill to that.
But it seems to me that the intention ... Read More

I've been a Bama fan since I first started following football. My first Hero was Joe Namath (Alabama), my favorite NFL team was the 76 Raiders with Ken Stabler(Alabama), Then when I became the equipment manager for my High School, we got our uniforms diectly from the University of Alabama. Imagine how proud we were wearing the same uniforms as the two time (1976) National Champion at that time. We considered ourselves as part of the Bama Program. Then I actually was spoken to by Paul Bear Bryant ... Read More

As I have looked at most if not all of the glitch threads on OS over a two year period, I think I've noticed a pattern.
Over two years, it appears to me that there are far more glitches overall coming from Xbox users than PS3 users.
Now, it could be that there are just more Xbox users than PS3; Maybe..
Or it could just be my imagination..
Or....
Could it be proven how many glitches are solely on Microsoft? And how many are Sony? And how many are on both systems? ... Read More

I just read a study saying that Women eat better than Men, and that there is a psychological reason for it.
Of course the article goes into great depth as to why Women eat Fruits and Vegetables, but never gives a reason why Men don't, obviously an oversight by the female Writer.
And then they offered up a link to a Health Website regarding "Eating Healthy at Work".
So what do I see when I click the link? I see an attractive woman eating a plate of fruit sitting in front ... Read More

I have this idea...
What if you Franchised a City instead of a team?
For instance, if you Franchised The Reds in The Show, you'd be obligated to also Franschise The Bengals and the Univ of Cincinnati in Madden and NCAa accordingly.
But.. What you would really need, would be a City that has a team in EVERY sport that would be worth Franchising.
Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, and Football (Including NCAA).
And the rule would be that you follow a yearly calender; ... Read More

Well, it took me almost a year;
I play CPU vs CPU exclusively in Franchise Mode, viewing every game.
Last year, when I left off, I had sliders that were at least reasonable facsimiles of what I see on Sundays in the NFL. Not perfect, but reasonable.
But the problem I was having was that in a 16 game week, 14 of the games were statistically fair, but there was always that abnomally were maybe the Steelers would score 50 points by halftime against the Ravens.
