First quarter of conference play = 4-0 for OU

Oklahoma reeled off four straight conference wins to start the "real" season as they defeated K-State 79-70 at Manhattan. Next they took care of fifth rated Texas at Norman 71-63, followed by Texas A&M in College Station 68-59, and Nebraska in Norman 78-53. OU is currently top-rated in the land after a loss by North Carolina to jump the Sooners up to number one. The next four game stretch is brutal with Baylor at home, Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Iowa St. in Ames, and a rematch with Texas A&M in Norman.
