While 2K16 is a phenomenal game, it is not without its flaws. This is my short list on what needs to be worked on going into the future.
-White guys. Why do they look so terrible? Why is it so difficult to create a white guy that looks human? Why all of the weird preset heads? Why all of the soul patches? 2K needs to really invest some time and effort into CAP for 2K17. And fix Dirk, in fact, fix all of the blonde guys, they look ridiculous.
-Passing with the A button is an absolute nightmare, it's basically luck of the draw if it actually goes to your intended target.
-Momentum is OUTRAGEOUS. I understand the concept, but you need to understand that these are PROFESSIONAL athletes, they are fairly quick. Also, the CPU seems to have no quickness problems, especially on D, but when you switch to them, all of the sudden they are stuck in quick sand. Dribbling can be a bit slow as well sometimes and sometimes my player will keep making moves, when I am no longer even moving the stick.
-Pressure sensitive movement on the sticks. I am pushing the stick as far as it will go in one direction but my player is essentially walking as slow as he possibly can. It's especially annoying when I change to my center to try and help on defense to defend a layup, but I can't get there in time because the controls aren't working correctly. If you are pushing as hard as you can on offense or defense it should be a fast jog. The only time your player should slide on defense should be when you are holding the left trigger.
-When playing on the blacktop, give us the option to control positions and matchups. This was a game I played against my brother.
His team: Michael Jordan, '03 Dirk, Alonzo Mourning, JJ Redick, and Russell Westbrook.
My team: Magic, LeBron, Steph, Bosh, and Shaq.
For some reason, Bosh was guarding Zo and vice versa. Dirk and Shaq guarded each other. Steph guarded Westbrook (instead of JJ), LeBron guarded JJ and vice versa, and then Michael and Magic guarded one another. Let us control who guards whom.
-Animations in general just seem to take too long and are way over dramatic (except for layups and dunks).
-Why can't we edit the color of headbands? Why can't we remove or add them on later?
-Let us edit created players (draft class players) after they have been drafted.
I'm sure there are a few more little things, this was just off the top of my head. The game is great, but don't rest on your laurels thinking there isn't still ways to improve upon it.
