I thought the bodies were fine in the 2k trailer. I think we should wait until we can compare models of the same player. Live deserves a look, I think every game does, even if I'm an EA skeptic. Competition is always a good thing.

I was thinking the same thing, because in the past, when you look at how the players move, 2K has been the better looking game, even in screenshots it's obviously top notch. EA to me though has always had the better representation of jerseys and how they fit, accessories, and definitely shoes. Both deserve a look, I may end up getting both (2K being the preference) but just to support competition.

Neither looks bad, but Live definitely has 2k beat when it comes to little aesthetic things(which is actually been consistent through the years). They also seem to have a more believable lighting engine(isn't that different but it gives off a more photo-realistic look vs the plasticy look) Accessories & shoes has always been Live's thing and that hasn't changed. Not to mention they took it up a notch by scanning shoes in this year. They also use way more player models compared to 2k. That's why I fell in love with 2k on pc because I could fix all that was wrong. You can't even imagine how excited I am. about having a next-gen pc port.

I think Live has 2k beat in different body types such as fat players & etc. But 2k has surpassed them in everything else lately. The pic of Live Lebron vs 2k Lebron was a total joke. And Live has been looking cartoonish. This year Live looks well but idk if they have graphics as good as 2k tho. They are good at some amall things but overall graphically 2k has passed them.

Looking at this screenshot, it makes me wonder if this is the same team that worked on Live 14, and if it is, why does this year's game look so much better? How do you make the jump from last gen looking graphics to next gen in only a year?

Some players in 2k still look weird.The screenshots for Live have looked better. I think 2k messes up because they always try to get player reactions in the game.

The more I look at it, the more I think that Live looks better, but it's all about seeing it in motion. If 2K could take the small things, like the net, accessories, jerseys (and definitely how they fit), the lighting, and shoes, then 2K would have Live in a landslide. I'm still thinking that I'll get both though, just to keep the games fresher for longer, and again to support competition.
