First of all, to the developers I would like to ask, after the first season in Association this year, will my Bobcats will take on the Hornets moniker, or is that something that can get patched in after the season, OR am I going to have to wait until Live 15/2K15 for Hugo to come back?

Anyways, I think now would be the perfect opportunity to have a really in-depth relocation/create-a-team feature. I think it would be pretty cool to be able to add even more than just one team to the association. What if I want to add 5 or even 10? Hell, what if I want 50 NBA teams in the Association? With next-gen on its way, now would be the perfect time to let people be as creative as they want to be and let them create the game that they want.

This is what I've been waiting for, systems that can handle these kind of ideas. Creating teams online and uploading them on your console, use images from Google or whatever for your logos, arenas, etc. This could be a really cool addition to Live or 2K.

because that goes into effect next season, im sure that the hornets change over will be in 15. They are not supporting this game after season ends. Remember no new rookies are added.

Adding new franchises to one own franchise would be awesome.
I remember Live 96 had an expansion draft from the free agent list for toronto and vancouver that would be awesome if you could do a draft of my player players and add them to the new franchise.

Maybe so, but I hope to see those kind of ideas implemented in next-gen. Especially with them having the ability to make these kind of features much more in-depth.

adding expansion is one thing, but you have to factor in schedules etc.
how would they program the scheduling. In addition you'd have to factor in more players for draft classes. Believe it or not the salary cap numbers would have to be factored in.
its possible but they would have to limit the amount of expansion teams/slots-for coding purposes. and in all likely-hood could only be done at the beginning of an association mode.

I've actually done the calculating before for a 50 team Association and have 82 games, though not everyone would play every other team in the league. If they moved it up to 90 or 100 games it'd be easier for scheduling. And with the amount of space, I don't think adding more players for a draft would be too daunting. But I agree there would need to be a cap somewhere for amount of teams. I didn't even think about salary cap numbers and all of that, but I think it could be done. I think it just helps enhance replay ability honestly, so people will continue to come back to the game throughout the year, they won't stop after6 or 7 months.

Highly unlikely...But would be great to see them plan ahead and have the Hornets in the Create a Team options...

That's what I was hoping for. I was thinking about how Madden has the Houston Oilers so maybe 2K could have the Hornets.

BTW, has anyone heard anything about team relocation? I like that in MyGM we can buy a team, but I'd love to see relocation, name and color change, etc.
