2K13 Calling me by nickname?

Okay, so I have a fairly common last name. I've never had an issue in past 2K games, but suddenly in 2K13, I am almost always called by my nickname by the commentators and rarely by my actual name. It's annoying since most of the nicknames are terrible, and it kind of kills the immersion factor. Is this something that can be fixed in a patch because it is getting really annoying...

Btw, does anyone know when the All-Star DLC will be on the XBL Marketplace? I didn't preorder it so I was just wondering when I'll be able to buy it or whatever.
