Rumors:
Armageddon in Los Angeles. Changes are coming in both organizations. Steve Ballmer, owner of the Clippers, was over heard talking to a close friend, "This might be the last season for Rivers, if he can't make anything happen." Head coach Doc Rivers responded, "I can't control that, we haven't sat down and talked so, no comment."
Across the street in the Laker headquarters, GM Magic Johnson is actively making calls and feeling the market for some of the young and older talent on the roster. "We are the Lakers, we can't be laying eggs out there like that especially at home."
Media Roundtable:
Charles Barkley: "What the Lakers are doing is absolutely terrible. Were't the supposed to be good by now at least a playoff team? Don't even get me started on the Clippers they should've been blown up a long time ago."
Skip Bayless: "What the Cavaliers are doing are classless. Running up the score like that, LeBron knows better than that! Show some respect to your opponents."
Adrian Wojnarowski: "I can confirm that the Lakers will be moving a lot pieces in the coming weeks, there is extreme impatience here in the Lakers organization, although it is early in the season."
