Sixers snap 3 gm skid with big win over the Hornets.

Beat NO 123-106. I had a nice 14 point lead at halftime, only to see that be cut down to 2 points by the end of the 3rd.

New Orleans was without David West who has been OUT w/ a broken toe, so that helped me out quite a bit.

I was able to hold NO to only 18 in the 4th qtr, and I outscored them by 15 in the 4th (33-18).

Their leading scorer was Mo Pete who was killing me from mid-range, and dropped in two 3's as well. Peja had 3 threes and finished w/ 19. Rasual Butler exploded on me in the 3rd, and was the main reason NO got back into the game at that point - he hit 3 threes in a row. CP3 was held to 10 points, but finished w/ 21 assists! Paul shot 4-14 from the field, and had an off night. Tyson Chandler was the only other Hornet to finish w/ a double double w/ 18 and 14.

Philly got at least 20 each from Iggy, EB, VC, and Louis - Brand leading the way w/ 24. Thad Young and Kareem Rush would come off the bench for 18 and 11 respectively.

I continue to kill the opposition w/ sweet Lou Williams. He finished w/ 20 pts and 13 dimes sprinkling in 2 steals too, but it was his 3-5 shooting from deep which helped out the most. Two of his three 3 pointers came as time expired during the 1st and 2nd qtrs, and allowed me to extend my leads. I didn't have anyone else w/ a double in this one, just Louis Williams.

However, Iggy did have a nice game finishing w/ the following line:

39 min, 23 pts, 4 reb, 8 ast, 3 stl, 8-16 FG, 6-7 FT, 1-3 3pt.

I continue to struggle at times w/ Vince Carter. I dropped in 21 w/ him, but on 8-22 shooting and went 0-5 from 3. His FT shot is money though, and even though his rating isn't the highest on the team I rarely ever miss w/ him as he went 5-5 from FT in this one. He also added two steals, and two assists.

My plan from here out, as I'm now at March 15th in my association, is to only play the games against teams w/ records OVER .500%. That leaves a possible 12 games left for me to play until playoff time - where I'll play every game.

I like to do things like this so I can get through multiple seasons...that's the reason for an association mode right...to play multiple seasons.

My next game is a home game vs the Heat. Hopefully I can keep this one close unlike my last game against the Heat in Miami where I lost by 39. Should finish this one tomorrow, and I'll have the results then.

You guys let me know if you've got info into that glitch I mentioned in my last blog...I don't want my association crapping out on me in the long run due to thiat stupid thing.
