East gets blown out by West in 2008-09 ASG.

To start to round off my 2k9 achievements I decided to play this one on All-Star as the achievement dictates. Big mistake!

I lost a whopping 156-102. It was close after the 1st 28-22 w/ the West leading, but that would soon end as the West never scored less than 40 in a qtr there on out.

7 would finish in double figures for the West All-Stars w/ Manu leading the way w/ 25.

Since the 'win the ASG on All-Star' achievement was out of the picture I tried to focus in on getting KG's achievement, and I missed out on that one too! By one rebound!

KG lead the way for the East w/ 22.

Let me just say that I freaking hate any difficulty above Pro. It is just ridiculous the way the CPU will just light you up. They shot over 60% on me, and Manu seemed to nail every 3 he shot - even when being blanketed or doubled up on.

All of my sliders were set slightly below default - same way they are for when I play pro - but you would've thought the shooting sliders were jacked up.

Yea All-Star difficulties and up suck!

The blowouts didn't stop there as my next 'played' game would come against Miami. With the difficulty switched back to Pro - like it has been for all my reg. season games thus far - I got juiced in a 119-80 loss that saw me finish the 1st down by 10 (26-16), and I would never be able to overcome that. Miami held me to 10 points in the 4th qtr which greatly allowed them to increase their lead to nearly a 40 pt winning margin. Pathetic!

The losing would not stop there. I would go on to win my next game, a simmed game in NJ. Won that one by 17 (82-65), but I simmed the next two games too which started a 2 gm losing streak after losses to WAS and NY. I wanted to get to the Orlando game, and hoping to end my 2 game skid I played Orlando...But lost 109-105 in a game which was very much and up and down game.

Vs Orlando I lead for much of the game, but they came back late in the 3rd and then we exchanged leads in the 4th - only to see them pull away w/ some timely long range shooting. I cut the lead down to 4 w/ a minute left to play, but I wasn't able to overcome the deficit.

I wanted to post stats from this one since it was a good game; Iggy had 28 points in the 1st half, but would only finish w/ 32. However, that stupid glitch happened where it shows that I won the game and shows the 4th qtr scoring as 15 for me and 0 for Orlando...But they won 109-105.

Does anyone know if this is going to affect my association down the road...like corrupt the file?

I was oblivious to it until just now after finishing the game which followed the Orlando loss/glitch...which happened to be a BIG win vs NO that snapped my 3 gm losing streak.

But since this glitch occurred my 'sim central' is showing a 2 gm winning streak.

If anyone can let me know about this glitch...whether or not it will have adverse effects on my association moving forward please let me know. I just got the patch tonight.
