Nothing special about this one...Just a good ol'fashioned butt whippin the first half with Philly being up by 16 at one point. Only to see Indy cut that lead to 7 to finish the half.
Indy would come out on fire in the 3rd, and we actually had a game on our hands for a little while...
However, Vince Carter proved to be too much for Indy in the 4th qtr scoring 17 of his 30 pts in the 4th. This performance by Carter is exactly why Philly acquired him...Iggy was 0-3 in the 4th, and Louis Williams wasn't able to find his stroke in the 4th either.
Thats when VC put his new team on his back, and carried the sixers to victory w/ a 17 pt 4th qtr performance.
'I hope to see many more performances like this from Vince', stated head coach Maurice Cheeks during the post game press conference.
Let the Vince Carter era in Philly begin!
