The Suns - An NBA 2K9 Association - Quenching the Desert's Thirst for a Championship

After my failed associations w/ the Sixers and Wizards I've learned 2 lessons so far.

1. Never train your players after having played a game.
2. Remember to turn CPU trades off after the regular season.

I'm still having a lot of fun w/ this game, and I still want to run an association mode and get at least a decade deep into it.

I'm going to go back to the Suns...A team who I started an association w/ upon release day, but never went back to.

Since I've got a good set of sliders now I'll be able to have some more enjoyable games w/ my new Suns association than I did w/ my first one. There's a great storyline w/ the Suns too...

They've never won an NBA Championship, and the window for Nash to get his 1st ring and for Shaq to get another are closing quickly. Now they have J-Rich onboard, and have some decisions to make regarding resigning Nash and/or Amare. Plus they are in a great division which will offer plenty of competition.

Good luck with this one! I am back into this game since my wife re-purchased this game for me as a gift for christmas (I traded it in a while back to get NCAA Basketball 09). Well, I told her that I wanted NBA Live 09 for Christmas.....well, she got me this game instead and I didn't have the heart to tell her she got the wrong one. Anyway....i fired up my Sixers dynasty again and I am back in love with this game (I forgot how good it was)....As much as I enjoy EA's basketball engine this year, I don't think Live 09 has a better franchise mode than 2k.

I am ready to continue my season (after a few practice games to get the controls back down) and coincidentally we are on the December 26th's game against the Nuggets.
