76ers 102 - Pistons 93 (OT)

Such an exciting game! Too bad I couldn't pull it off in OT. I just couldn't find the flow in the 4th quarter and allowed the 76ers to go on a 14-1 run to take a 5 point lead with 3 minutes left in the game. The end of regulation was crazy! Down by 2 with 20 seconds, I missed a layup with Stuckey and the 76ers controlled the rebound and took a timeout. I immediately fouled Holiday, who sank both free throws putting me down 4 with 14 seconds left. I inbounded the ball to Stuckey, who drove and kicked it out to a wide open Jerebko who knocked down the three, putting me down by 1. I fouled Holiday again, who sank both free throws, putting me down 3 with 5 seconds left. I controlled Knight, ran to the short side corner, and drained the open three with 3 seconds left, sending the game into OT. In OT (and the 4th quarter) I couldn't buy a basket, going 0/9 in the extra period. In the game, I shot 36% while the 76ers shot 44%. I shot an atrocious 3/19 from behind the arc, while the 76ers went 6/13 for 46%. For the 76ers, Jrue Holliday scored 30 points, along with 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Andre Iguodala had 21 points while Elton Brand had 14 points and 9 rebounds. Rodney Stuckey led the way for me, scoring 23 points with 5 turnovers. Brandon Knight added 21 points on 6-13 shooting and Greg Monroe had 17 points to go along with 10 boards. Tayshaun Prince and Ben Gordon each added 9 points, although Ben Gordon shot 3-12, including 0-6 from behind the arc. Prince and Jonas Jerebko each pulled down 9 rebounds. My next game is at the Los Angeles Clippers.
