Top 5 Most Underestimated teams in Ncaa 12
5. Southern Miss - Southern Miss won the C-USA champion ship and beat the #6 team in the country by 21 points. Winning the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl against Nevada I'm sure they would be rated better in Ncaa 12 now.
4. LSU - Not much to say about LSU's spectacular season. They beat #2 Alabama, won the SEC and will play Alabama again in the national championship. Being rated pretty well at the beginning puts them at 4.
3. Georgia - After starting off the first two games on the loosing end vs Boise and South Carolina, Aaron Murry got them into the SEC championship at 10-2 but lost to LSU after holding LSU to 0 first downs in the first half.
2. Louisiana Tech - Louisiana Tech won the WAC despite a predicted down season. Although not surprised about the outcome of their bowl how close it was made me realize how great of a season they had.
1. Baylor - Our number 1 is Baylor (9-3). Only playing in one bowl game since 1998, RG3 won the Heisman, and had signature comebacks against TCU and Oklahoma. Great job RG3!

Baylor went to the Texas Bowl last year and played against Illinois. A little research goes a long way.

I'm assuming that would be the "one bowl game since 1998" referenced in the blog. I don't think he was talking about the one this year, since he was trying to set the stage for how surprising their season was.

How about clemson, houston,usf and western kentucky which was vowl eligible but didnt get picked to be in a bowl

They were # 12 to answer the lsu par. South Florida flopped, Clemson flopped Western Kentucky got 7 wins. Houston played nobody out of conference and got killed by our number five. Also their pre-season ranking was about 19 and that's where they are now.
