Full disclosure: My intention is to secure a position here at Operation Sports primarily covering either Madden, FIFA or NCAA Football. Welcome to my Operation Sports blog!

As a general rule, I don't blog. I embrace social media though have chosen to shunt blogging up until now under the guise of ImaGamer_OS. Here in Australia I write articles that are run in the traditional forms of print media.

A week before the end of this Financial Year I said to my wife I was going to pursue a career in the gaming industry. I didn't have answers to the question of "How?" though I could answer instantly when asked "Why?�

You see I've been a gamer since I first played Track and Field on my Atari 2600 back in the mid 80's. I was hooked. The stick figure men I controlled were allowing me to pursue Olympic Gold right on my TV screen! I remember noting my best times, longest throws and adding to my burgeoning medal tally daily. This first experience with sports gaming planted a seed that has grown and seen me chase sporting glory on my TV ever since.

The how in all this starts here at Operation Sports and I look to become a valuable member of the world's leading sports gaming authority. I want to be seen a respected member and contributor here at Operation Sports whilst chasing my dream of a career in the gaming industry.

Track and Field: This is where the sports gaming seed was planted in this sports fan.

Welcome to Operation Sports. I remember the first sports video game I ever played it was NFL Quarterback Club 98 and ever since then I've been addicted to any type of sports game. Good luck on your dreams
