Wednesdays trade of Trent Richardson to the Colts in exchange for a 2014 1st round draft pick is all about the Cleveland quarterback position. Sure, the Colts probably instigated talks sometime after Vic Ballard went down, but let's look at it from the perspective of the Browns, who ultimately had to pull the trigger on sending a young star to a conference foe. This move indicates that the front office in Cleveland doesn't see Brandon Weeden in their future and wants to start over bad enough that it is willing to move it's best offensive weapon to do it. Weeden and Richardson's time as the "future" of the Cleveland Browns may have been short lived but it seems they are just the unfortunate victims of poor timing.
