Only one advance remains until the Carolina Hurricanes and new GM Chase Lloyd find out who their first round opponent will be in the Hockey Night on OS Playoffs. Alex Semin's GWG with 2.3 seconds remaining against the New York Rangers and a strong performance in a loss by Cam Ward in Philly, secured 3 points in 2 games for Carolina and kept them in the hunt for a spot in the postseason. When Hurricanes forward Jiri Tlusty was asked what the Hurricanes motivation will be going into the final week, he responded solemnly, "We play for Dancing Granny".
