Denver, after finally ending their 3 game losing streak are heading out to the bay to face the Golden State Warriors. After missing Denver's last game due to a twisted ankle, Ty Lawson will be back in action much to the delight of his head coach George Karl. Karl said in an interview earlier today, "While I'm very happy that we have a backup point guard that can run the game in Andre Miller, I'm very excited to get Ty and his great scoring ability back. His ability to get in the paint and draw defenders really opens up the game for our outside shooters to get going." Lawson's return is made a little bit easier due to the fact that Golden State's star point guard Stephen Curry will miss this game due to an undisclosed injury, however we have been assured by the Warrior's front office that it is just a day-to-day injury.

Andre Iguodala pulled out a second straight 30+ point game last night to defeat the Jazz and snap the Nuggets losing streak!! The Jazz had the lead the majority of the first half and took a three point lead into halftime. However the Nuggets came back hard in the second half behind Iggy's 34 point performance, and the Manimal's fourth straight double-double game(10pts,15reb) to win by six . The Nuggets also got a nice game off the bench from Corey Brewer who scored 19 points in 16 minutes going 3-4 from behind the arc. The Jazz got double-doubles from Jefferson and Millsap but even with that and the two injured starters for the Nuggets it still wasn't enough for them to pull out the win. The Nuggets now look to get a win streak going after their recent 3-game slide.

Set to play their second home game of the season tonight, the Nuggets are off to a dreadful 1-4 start with three straight losses. Meanwhile the Jazz are also off to a matching 1-4 start to their season and are on the road for this game, so things could be looking up for the Nuggets tonight. The injury bug jumped up and bit Denver in their last game as starting point guard Ty Lawson and starting small forward Danilo Gallinari surrered twisted ankles and will be sitting this game out. It's gonna take a big effort from Iggy and the Manimal to get the Nuggets their second win of the season and break the losing streak.

Well I said it was sure to be a offensive game and it didn't disappoint in that sense. However it did in the fact that the Nuggets just couldn't quite pull off the win in Houston last night. Despite a fantastic performance from Andre Iguodala putting up 35 points, 4 boards, 8 assists, and shooting 50% from downtown the Rockets beat the Nuggets by 3 with Iggy missing a buzzer beater to potentially send the game to OT. The Rockets were led by their two new guards Harden and Lin as they combined for 44 points, 11 boards, 13 assists, and 7 steals. Marcus Morris also posted a double-double for the hometown Rockets. In a side note for this one Ty Lawson and Danilo Gallinari suffered twisted ankles in the 4th and will miss the Nuggets next game against the Jazz.

Boy oh boy my friends and fellow Nuggets fans, do we need a win! After getting off to a 1-3 start and dropping our home opener last night now we have to go down to Houston to face the upstart Rockets and their high scoring acquisition James "do it the harden way" Harden. This game is sure to feature plenty of offense and big plays, the only question is can the Nuggets make more of them than the opposition and come away with their second win of the season or will Houston continue their unbeaten ways?

The Nuggets first outing in front of their Denver faithful ends in a defeat at the hands of the Pistons. Iguodala and Faried fought hard(Iggy with 27 points,Faried with a 15pt/11reb double-double)but it just wasn't enough to overcome 17 team turnovers and the first career double-double from the rookie out of Duke Kyle Singler. Singler put up 16 points and 12 boards to help the Pistons climb back to .500.

The Nuggets travel to Houston next to face the undefeated Rockets and their new stars James Harden and Jeremy Lin.
Well Nuggets fans it's finally here!!! It's time for the first home game of the 2012-13 season! Both the Nuggets and the visiting Pistons have gotten off to a sluggish 1-2 start. The Nuggets should be able to handle a less talented Pistons team, but will they suffer from any carry over after a 30 point loss in Miami? We'll have to wait and see.

The raining MVP LeBron James and the Heat easily took care of the visiting Nuggets last night by a 30 point margin. King James and Udonis Haslem both double-doubled, and LeBron led the Heat in points(24), rebounds(11), and assist(7). Iggy and Faried fought hard for the Nuggets, Iggy scoring 25 and Faried putting up a double-double with 18 points and 10 boards but it was no where near enough to down the defending champs.
The Nuggets head to Denver for the home opener next against the Pistons.

Ty Lawson was everywhere doing everything for the Nuggets last night, giving his team all he had to get them their first win of the season over the Orlando Magic. Denver controlled the game from the tip and got the easy win down in Orlando beating the Magic by 19. Lawson recorded his first double-double of the season putting up 29pts 11ast 7stl and 2 reb. Let's hope the team can carry this momentum into their next game and maybe get on a nice run here early in the season.

Evan Turner and the 76ers take the win over the Denver Nuggets in the season opener last night. The game was never quite as close as the score would suggest. Despite a 20pt 13reb double double performance from Gallo, it just wasn't enough for the Nuggets to overcome the outing from the 76ers.
