Okay so this is something that has plagued me for quite a few recent Madden entries. After a couple of years of a franchise I have a few good drafts under my belt and I usually have a good linebacking corp. Now admittedly most of my franchises are simmed because I really enjoy the managing part of it. So I have my start middle linebacker, Freddie Bates for example (he is a beast, 85 overall and he can be taken in the 4th round!) and he is racking up the tackles, sacks, picks and forced fumbles. He is a perennial Pro Bowl player. So I sim a season and go to check my stats and lo and behold he is not listed....instead his 66 overall backup seemed to have stolen his identity and tossed it in a trash compactor. I check the depth chart and I still have Bates at the MLB 1 spot. I quit out and reload the franchise. I double check that Bates is at 1 again, then sim it again...Mr. 66 is once again the MLB. I reload again, this time I make Bates the MLB 2, thinking I might outsmart the system. Sim season. 66 gets the stats.....another franchise ruined.

This happens with multiple positions and is seemingly random. Some franchises are fine, others start to have this problem as early as the 3rd year. This is incredibly frustrating cause it makes no sense.

Oh and one other thing. For franchise settings I make everything USER controlled, but every 3 years or so, I check the options and they have reset back to CPU. I constantly save the franchise and my profile so that isnt the issue. The game is just trying to make me set myself on fire.
