Another athlete makes a mockery of the American justice system

Yet again, a precedent has been set. Whatever you want to do, it's cool as long as you're rich and famous.

You mean to tell me, that you can go out drinking, end up WELL over the legal limit for blood-alcohol, speed, hit and kill a pedestrian, and spend just 24-30 days in jail? Yep. As long as you have plenty of money to buy off the (apparently money hungry) family of the victim, and as long as your name is famous enough.

You might say: "Well he also has 2 years of house arrest." That's a joke, because a guy that makes millions of dollars a year has a pretty nice spread. If you forced me to spend two straight years in my house I could probably hack it, and I live in a pretty crappy little apartment. But hey, I have cable and Xbox Live...

To have 15 years in prison on the line and end up with 24 and a private settlement with the victim's family... I'm embarrassed to be an American. I honestly am. I hope the victim's family enjoys the money more than they did their old man.

I called this a month ago. I said Stallworth would spend less time in jail than Vick. You can kill someone while intoxicated and people can picture themselves in that situation easier than killing a bunch of dogs.
