Where I'm coming from: I'm now 35 years of age, married, and hopefully there will be chillens on the way in the near future. I'm a certified dynasty fanatic. There is nothing about this mode that I could ever get enough of. I hope it continues to get better, but I love it. I participate in an online dynasty (traditionfootball.com) with 11 really great guys that I have a lot of fun competing against.

For the longest time, I've tracked my teams by posting dynasty reports. Ok, I ... Read More

Yet again, a precedent has been set. Whatever you want to do, it's cool as long as you're rich and famous.

You mean to tell me, that you can go out drinking, end up WELL over the legal limit for blood-alcohol, speed, hit and kill a pedestrian, and spend just 24-30 days in jail? Yep. As long as you have plenty of money to buy off the (apparently money hungry) family of the victim, and as long as your name is famous enough.

You might say: "Well he also has 2 years ... Read More

First, I apologize for the length of this. I can't seem to write short articles - never have been able to. Second, this would be a helluva lot more useful if it was written within a month of the game's release way back in 2008, I realize that. Still, I find that maybe some insight can be gleaned into what to expect from the next iteration, and maybe it will show a few people out there how to look for these things in the future. Essentially, it ties in with previous articles that I wrote for MaddenMania ... Read More

We really need a live look-in feature with NCAA. But even if EA doesn't end up providing this, my league is still pretty much determined to have some games that everybody can watch. That's why some of the league members have started broadcasting games on Justin.tv.

It just so happened that the most amazing finish in the history of our league occurred while several of us both in the Tradition and Old Fellas leagues were watching.

It was UCLA against Arizona State. ... Read More

Starting in a league full of first-rate teams including USC, Texas, and Michigan just to name a few, my choice of Purdue might have seemed odd. But like many people, I thought it would be more fun to build something from scratch rather than have it all ready for me right when the online dynasty started up. I'm not an alum of Purdue or anything - I did an offline dynasty with them a few years back and of all the teams I ran with - and I've run with a few - they were the ones that kind of grew on ... First of all, I haven't read any of the threads or the entire comment section (on the main OS Page) so please forgive me if some of these takes, ideas, points, or whatever have already been made.

People have already pointed out the "Team Builder" and "Road to Glory" menus and guesstimated what those might be all about.

Just watching the initial moments of the video, I have to say the menus look more responsive and inviting. These are reputedly "small" things about ... Read More

First of all... I know it's a little too early in the game to expect any true blockbuster news. But I can't help looking forward to tomorrow, even if it's with a bit of trepidation.

Online dynasty has infused new life into the NCAA football game for me and my league mates. We're still going like crazy and we recently had our first game broadcast live. Yeah it was an ugly game between UCLA and Oregon, but it was watched by at least 15 guys in the various Tradition and Old Fellas ... Read More
