HAPPEL, ELLIS NAMED PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Orlando, FL (AP) - This is becoming a freakish regularity: Magic forward Brian Happel was named the Eastern Conference's Player of the Week for the week of November 18-24. It's the fourth straight time he's received the award so far this season.

VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Happel was getting lots of air time all week, including at home against Philadelphia

Happel led the Magic to three blowout wins against New Orleans, Indiana and Philly. Happel averaged 37.0 points per game, 15.6 rebounds per game and 5.3 assists per game for the week. He also shot a whopping 69% from the field.

Monta Ellis led the Warriors to 3 wins while being named Player of the Week

Meantime, Monta Ellis was named the Western Conference's Player of the Week. Ellis had 3 strong outings, including 42 points and 13 assists against Toronto. He averaged 30.0 points and 8.0 assists per game for the week. Ellis also played well defensively, getting nearly 3 steals a game.
