HAPPEL, CP3 NAMED PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Orlando, FL (AP) - Another week in the NBA, another award for Magic forward Brian Happel. Happel was named the Eastern Conference's Player of the Week for the week of November 11-17.

Happel jammed the ball down the throat of every single opponent this week

To say he was a force this week would be an understatement. Happel averaged a shade over 46 points per game. He also grabbed 12 rebounds a game and collected 2.3 steals per game. Happel led his Magic to 3 wins, all blowouts, and had Orlando just a shot away from beating Atlanta.

VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Happel was "en fuego," pouring in shots from just about everywhere on the floor

Happel also set several Orlando team records when he scored 67 points at home against the Magic's hated rivals, the Boston Celtics. Oh and by the way, the Magic forward only managed to hit on 71% of his shots from the field, including 8-14 (57%) from long range.

Chris Paul led New Orleans to 3 double-digit wins

Hornets Point Guard Chris Paul was named the Western Conference Player of the Week. He nearly averaged a triple-double for the week, averaging 22.3 points per game, 8.7 rebounds per game and 9.7 assists per game. He also was a force on defense, averaging 4.0 steals a game for the week.
