HAPPEL, WESTBROOK NAMED PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Orlando, FL (AP) - The hardware keeps piling up for Orlando Forward Brian Happel. He was named the Eastern Conference's player of the week for the first full week of the regular season.

Happel's high-flying act was enough to earn him a Player of the Week award

Happel led the Magic to a 2-1 record in the first week of the season. He averaged 37 points per game, 10.7 rebounds per game and 5 assists per game, including a career-high 12 assists against Charlotte. He also shot 65% from the floor and 56% from long range.

Oklahoma City has something to be proud of: Westbrook named Player of the Week

Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook was named the Western Conference's Player of the Week. He led the Thunder to a 3-1 record. Westbrook averaged 23.8 points per game, 6.3 assists per game and 2.8 steals per game. He also shot 90% from the free throw line, hitting on 37-41 shots.
