So here goes nothing... I'm going to start following the career of my "My Player" from NBA 2K11 here... Hopefully, anyone out there reading this will follow along at least from time to time. Please let me know any thoughts you may have. I sort of did this on another website - but I don't think anyone ever read it, so I was basically doing it for myself lol. Hopefully, this generates a little interest/feedback. I know I like to look at some of these kinds of things other players generate. So - without any more delay - here are the basics:

I have question man, which stats did you choose to upgrade first? Offense or defense?

At first I was just starting with whatever the lowest attributes were... but not too long after, I figured out offense was the most important... so I really started working on layups, shooting off the dribble and mid-range shooting... once I got to the point where I didn't brick half my layups and could make some outside jumpers, I also worked on rebounding and vertical.. I also did a lot with the offensive and defensive awareness (because those made your overall go up quickly), and offensive clutch and consistency (so i could stay hot and get out of slumps).

Does your free throw rating make any difference at all, while playing the game?

I don't know that it makes too much of a difference, to be honest. I think it makes it a little easier to time the shot for your free throws and make them... But I was shooting 90% from the free throw line even when my rating was a 60 or so... when I bumped the rating into the 80's, I ended up shooting 95% my second year... so, I guess it helped a little bit... but not that much.
