Jets Edge Past Patriots in Final Seconds, 28-25
Biff Below has been the topic of discussion here in New York over the past few months. In recent weeks he's been called the "Messiah of the Meadowlands". Below had been putting up good numbers and impressing players, fans, and coaches alike around the league. But with all this praise and whatnot, one question remained:
Can you beat the Patriots?
Well, it wasn't clean by any means, but yes, yes he can. It took a last second fourth quarter pass to wideout Peter Bayless to seal the deal, but he got the job done, he toppled Tom Brady and the Patriots.
The Pats proved worthy opponents to Below, as they managed to sack him six times and pick him off four times, but Biff Below wouldn't stop raging ahead. The quarterback threw for over 450 yards, and stimulated the otherwise stagnant Jets offense.
The Jets can now look forward to going into their bye week with a win under their belt and the lead in the AFC East firmly in hand. At 4-1, this years Jets are looking nothing like the troubled team of 2008.
