Week 4: Cardinals vs Jets

In yet another exciting finish, Kurt Warner captained the Arizona Cardinals from behind late in the fourth quarter to give Arizona its fourth consecutive win, leaving them in the Top 10 at 4-0.

"The Jets played solid football today, and they showed us what they've been showing everyone else all season. Today we just wanted it more," Coach Ken Whisenhunt said concerning the game today.

In truth, it was a great game. Thus far, New York has been able to keep almost every game competitive up until the final whistle blows (except for week one, of course). Jets fans have been critical of quarterback Chad Pennington as of late, seeing him as the wrong fit for their team.

"It always hurts to know the fans aren't exactly on your side," Pennington remarked, when asked about his low approval rating, "I'm here to do a job, and I'd like to think I'm doing the best I can. Hopefully I can show the fans that I'm not as bad as they'd like to think."

Kurt Warner was awarded the game ball today, for his heroics in the fourth quarter.

"It's never easy, having to come from behind like that. The Jets had done a really good job of limiting our pass game out there, and it didn't stop on that drive either," Warner said, "we were very fortunate on some of our passes. You know those ones where you throw it and you cringe because you get that feeling that it's going to get picked off? Yeah, I threw a few of those on that drive. Luck definitely factored in today."

Next week the Buffalo Bills will go into Glendale to take on the Cardinals, while the Jets get an extra week to reflect on this week's game as they have a bye before their game against Chad Ochocinco and the Cincinnati Bengals.
