Jets vs Chargers Recap:
What a contest! The gang really stepped up on Sunday and brought the pain. Thomas Jones knocked down the door of the house three times, which backs up my claim that the running games would come out to play. LT and Darren Sproles combined for over 30 carries, and Thomas Jones scampered for three touchdowns. One might argue that neither backs finished over 100 yards, but honestly, does that really matter?

Cardinals vs Jets Preview:
This game makes me nervous. I don't see the Cardinals as a solid team right now, and I think the Jets see that as well. Which concerns be, because they'll take them for granted this week, I feel. Now I could be totally wrong. New York could go out there and blow them out 40-0 on Sunday, but I expect the Cardinals to be a little more formidable than that. Keep a close eye on this game.

College Games:
How about that Biff Below!? This guy continues to impress me. He's being touted as a Top 10 pick already, and in my personal opinion, I see him being the most effective quarterback to come out of this draft. You can have your Jack English and your Dane Morrows. Give me Biff Below!

As for other players we noticed this weekend, Jamarion Bellows. He appears to be a bit of a sleeper so far. No teams have really taken any notice because he's from such a small school. He's got great speed and hands though, I think if the Jets find themselves with little option in the later rounds, and he's still available, they should take him.

Closing Thoughts:
I really should just rename this section to "I don't like Chad Pennington", honestly. He's not the right quarterback for this team. In a perfect world, we would trade him before the trade deadline and get some late picks for him or something. He could be useful to a team like Miami or Buffalo, where they don't live and die by passing the ball. He's a very smart quarterback, and is good at managing games. He simply doesn't fit here in New York. I get emails every week telling me that I need to stop bashing on Chad, because he's put up phenomenal numbers every week so far. Look at his mistakes though, look at the interceptions. Key interceptions at awful moments. People wonder why we can't get our act together until the 4th quarter, well, here's a hint: it's all in their heads. That's right, I said it. Look at the film. The Jets start to gain momentum early, and Pennington throws a pick. That throws them off all game and they don't get their heads screwed on right until the 4th quarter. It's all speculation, but the logic is flawless.

In short, TRADE CHAD PENNINGTON.
