New York Jets: Week 1

It was a beautiful day for football this morning as the Jets and Dolphins took the field. The game, however, for the Dolphins, would be far less beautiful.

In a game marred by errors and poor play, the Dolphins didn't impress anyone. The offense, save Ronnie Brown, was stagnant overall. The Jets defense swarmed and swarmed poor John Beck until he couldn't take anymore.

Beck's performance was extremely underwhelming, only throwing for 72 yards, and 4 interceptions. Not to mention the 20 incomplete passes he threw. On the other side, Chad Pennington flourished, throwing for over 300 yards.

The Jets played a good game of football this week, and McCullen showed us that his style can show flashes of greatness in the NFL. But he has a long way to go before establishing a name for himself.
