Mariners Franchise Update

Hey guys, regarding my mariners Franchise, I WILL still be doing this. I just am waiting for Mizzou24's rosters to come out. This will probably be started mid-August as I am on vacation for the first week of August and that's probably when the rosters will come out.

I hope some of you will like this, even though I'm doing this for myself mainly.

MLB The Show 14: Seattle Mariners Franchise (Intro)

Hey, guys, I'll be playing a Franchise in MLB the show 14 as the Seattle Mariners. This is just an intro, as I will not be starting until Mizzou's final roster comes out (should be this weekend, or even early next week at the latest) so expect the first post then. I'll post my 25-man roster/lineups/rotation/bullpen and a season out look for the 2014 season. I'm mainly posting this for myself but I still hope a lot of you are seeing this.

Mariners outlook for this season and beyond

The Seattle Mariners went from a game under .500 and in 2nd place in the AL West, back to to the bottom of the division. (If you don't count the LASTros)

Despite this funk, there have been positives. Nick Franklin was recently called up, and had performed much better than Dustin Ackley. Raul Ibanez, Kendrys Morales and Kyle Seager have provided power and run production in the middle of the lineup with Justin Smoak and Mike Morse out with injuries. WR CCM - Year 14 & 15 - Retirement

Year 14.
The Falcons went 9-7 and made the playoffs. We again won the NFC championship and in the Super Bowl, we lost to the Raiders 17-21.

Year 15.
We went 13-3 and won the Super Bowl against the Raiders 24-14.

My final legacy was 7,043, which is 70th all time. Pretty dumb that I had to retire, as I wanted to play out my contract. Well I guess I'm done writing about this now.

Year 12.
Falcons went 12-4 and lost in the divisional round to the 49ers, 37-41. In the SB, MVP RG3 and the Redskins took on Blanie Gabbert and the Raiders. Chan Gailey (Redskins) won CoY.

I won the award for best WR in the NFC for the first time in my career. The only other award I've ever won is a pro bowl selection (10x)

The Panthers and Cam Newton defeated Andrew Luck and the Colts in the Super Bowl. RG3 won MVP and the Redskins coach (created) won CoY. I was 5th in best WR. This is the final year of my contract with the Bears. I declined, becasue our team has gone into a rebuilding mode, Jay Cutler retired, and I want to go play for a winner. I repeatedly gain 1,000+ yards with 100+ catches in a season, and I think I deserve to go play for a winner.

This is going to be a quick update covering all of year 9 and year 10. In year 9, we made the playoffs but lost in the first round. In year 10, we didn't even make the playoffs.

Just finished year 8. I am in the off-season. the Jets went 10-6 and lost in the divisional round to the Colts, 28-42. In the SB, Cam Newton and the Panthers took on Joe Haden and the Browns. In the end, the Jaguars won, 28-17. Andrew Luck (Colts) won league MVP. Lovie Smith (Falcons) won CoY.

Just finished year 5. I am in the off-season. the Jets went 12-4 and lost in the divisional round to the Chargers, 37-41. In the SB, Russel Wilson and the Vikings took on MJD and the Jaguars. In the end, the Jaguars won, 34-21. Russel Wilson (Vikings) won league MVP. Mike Mularkey (Jags) won CoY.

Just finished year 5. I am in the off-season. the Jets went 9-7 and lost in the Divisional round to Joe Haden, TJ Ward and the Browns. We did get 1 round farther than last year. Lets hope we continue the trend.

Just finished year 5. I am in the off-season. the Jets went 11-5 and lost in the wild-card round to Jake Locker and the Titans. In the superbowl, The Colts took on the Redskins, where Andrew Luck defeated RG3, 24-18. Mark Sanchez finished 2nd to 39-year old Tom Brady, who actually is returning for his age-40 season.
