ASB: Futures game - Seattle Mariners Franchise

Finally at the All Star Break! It's been a long season. But it's also been fun as we currently lead the division by one game over the A's. Also, IRL, I'm ahead of these updates, so if they seem to be coming out fast, it's because I have them already written and everything.

Futures game update:

The Mariners were definitely represented in the Futures game. As on the World team, Gabriel Guerrero was the starting RF and batted 6th in the lineup. He went 1-2 with a RBI 2B in the 4th inning.

On team USA, DJ Peterson was the starting designated hitter and batted 7th. Also in team usa's bullpen was RHP Dominic Leone. Peterson went 1-2 with a single in the 2nd inning.

Leone pitched a scoreless 7th with 2 Ks.

Final score:
World: 4
USA: 2

They are definitely a part of the Mariner's "future" as well, with Leone probably making his debut sometime this September.
