Top 10 sports memories in my short lifetime.
Posted on August 9, 2012 at 01:16 AM.
Hey guys, Hadlert here. I've been on the site since I was 13, and am now about to turn 15 on the 12th.

I'm just going to take a look at my top sports moments in my (soon-to-be) 15 years

*NOTE*
I love football, and basketball, and college football, too. I follow all three sprts (along with baseball) with a passion. I might even know more about some things than most OS members. Just because I don't have a favorite NFL, NBA or NCAA team, doesn't mean I don't like the sport. Anyway, Most of (if not all) of these will be Seattle Mariners moments. (my only favorite sports team in any sport.)

10. My first Home Run in Little League - I was 12, and hit the ball in the same field my dad hit his first HR.

9. Mariners first Playoff appearance - I don't remember this TOO well, (I was 4-ish) but I sort of remember it. I was starting Kindergarten

8. My first game at SafeCo field. - My first game at Safeco was memorable, as it was the 100th win for the mariners in 2001. (I also went to win #116, an all-time record.)

7.Trevor May getting drafted - Trevor May, a top prospect in the Phillies organization, went to the same high school, and I got to know him a bit before his graduation. (I was in 8th grade when he was a Senior) I wish him the best in the future, and maybe he'll be a future Ace for the phillies.

6. This whole Trout vs. Harper thing. - for the next 20 years (disregarding injuries, etc.) Bryce Harper and Mike Trout will be national cornerstones for the sport of baseball in North America, and I will be looking forward to it.

5. The Double - Edgar Martinez' game winning double in game 5 of the 1995 NLDS scored Ken Griffey JR. and is forever a legendary moment in Seattle history. This WOULD be #1, but I never saw it live, only replays.

4. The entire Ichiro Era - from 2001-2012, Ichiro manned RF (and a little bit of CF) for the Mariners.

3. Felix Hernandez' Cy Young award season in 2010 - He was lights out all season, leading the AL in ERA and setting a new team single-season record.

2.Griffey returns to Seattle - This move made me so happy. I'm still happy to this point he got to retire a Marine.

1. Mariners 116 win season. - once again, I was only around 5, but I still remember it like yesterday. I was in attendance for win #100, and #116

There you have it. friend me on the site if you wish.

-Trent Hadler, 15 year old sports fanatic.
