Dallas Cowboys 2014
As day 1 of training camp has kicked off, this season of Dallas Cowboys football is full of storylines. Coach Jason Garrett, in the final year of his contract, is on the hot seat and needs to get this team into the playoffs to have a shot at earning an extension. Tony Romo, now 34, is coming off of his second back surgery in as many years, and is seemingly coming into the final stretch of his career. Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray are both in the final years of their rookie contracts, and look to cash in with great performances this season. Dez can build off of two consecutive dominant years, but can DeMarco stay healthy for one full season after he earned his first Pro Bowl birth? Sean Lee tore his ACL earlier in the day and looks to be out for the season, which is a devastating blow to an already porous defense. Rolando McClain was brought in for workouts today, as he is looking to come out of retirement for the second time in his young career. Can he replace Sean Lee?
This season looks to be full of struggles and up and down battles, as the previous 3 seasons have under coach Jason Garrett.
