Jacksonville Jaguars Franchise [Madden 12]

Michael Vick scanned the field. As he read the defensive coverage, he thought of the highlights and lowlights of his career. Being a game changer in Atlanta, being convicted of dog fighting, going to prison, almost certainly ending his football career. However, just a month after his release from prison, the Philadelphia Eagles' Head Coach Andy Reid took a gargantuan chance on Vick, signing him to a one year contract when no other head coach or owner in the National Football League dared to sign the former pro-bowl quarterback.

As the center snapped the ball, now in the fourth quarter of Superbowl XLIX, down by six points, Vick finally thought that this was his redemption; this would show that he "still had it." Vick evaded a Jaguars defender looking to sack Vick on fourth down.Vick threw a prayer, a hail mary, down the field, looking for Desean Jackson. Jaguars free safety L.C. Morris was toe-to-toe with Jackson, and as the ball neared both Morris and Jackson, Michael Vick's career continued to flash before his eyes. Both Morris and Jackson jumped for the ball, late in the fourth quarter on fourth down in the Superbowl. Morris swatted the ball out of reach, and the Eagles turned the ball over on downs.

As second string quarterback Blaine Gabbert ran the quarterback kneel, running out the last seconds of the Superbowl, he couldn't believe it. He was the 10th overall pick in the NFL draft 4 years ago. The Jaguars had never found success under him. Therfore, head coach Gronk 4M13 signed Tim Tebow in free agency, as well as drafting Raymond O'Neal, in the top ten of the draft that same year. Tebow led the Jaguars to the divisional playoffs, only to lose. O'Neal earned the starting spot and led the Jaguars to the AFC championship game, only to be injured and miss the rest of the season, however long that may be. All eyes were on Blaine Gabbert, and many experts predicted he would fail under the spotlight as he did years ago. However, Gabbert led the Jaguars to a victory in the AFC championship over the former rookie sensation, Andy Dalton, and his Bengals, and now a victory over Michael Vick's Eagles, to bring Jacksonville its first Lombardi trophy. Somehow, miraculously, the Jaguars won Superbowl XLIX without its star starting quarterback, both of its star defensive tackles, injuries to the linebacker corps and offensive line, and after the first play of the game, its star tight end, Patrick Bell.

You see, the story of this franchise does not begin with a team failing in season 1. This story begins with a Superbowl victory, and how the team will react to success that eluded them for four years.
