Will there ever be a good Star Trek game for consoles ?

To this day it amazes me how there isn't one good Star Trek game for consoles. I have played them all and the best one I ever played was the one for the Sega Genesis.

Star Trek Encounters in theory sounded like it would be a good game. For it had every tv show in it. But the graphics were terrible and the controls were just annoying. Spent more time racing through space then anything else.

Star Trek Conquest was just too short. And again very bland looking. All you did was try to take out the other species and take over their territory. Now if the map was HUGE and they allowed you to colonize plants and build troops, etc. then yeah the game would have been great.

Star Trek Legacy was alright, but it still fell short of what I am looking for. I want a game where you are in control of everything. You get to pick your officers, get to promote or demote people.

Like do any of you all remember this PC game from the 90s called Forced Alliance ? In that game you worked your way up from a grunt all the way up to an Admiral of the whole armed forces. The more rank you got, the more options you had under your control. From promoting & demoting people, to chosen captains and squad leaders and even forming alliances with other spieces.

That is what I am looking for in a Star Trek game. Total control. Where I can send teams out on away missions. Build bases and colonize planets. Establish trade routes and all that.
