NCAA 12 Tuner files - Lost Opportunity

It seems like everytime I turn around and look on Twitter, I see Donny Moore tweeting about a roster update for Madden 12. I mean seriouslly he is already on his 4th roster update.

I give kudos to Donny Moore and the Madden dev team for striving for excellence and constantly tweaking their rosters, adding new animations and tweaking game play AI. They have the technology and ability to do so and they are making the most out of it.

Then on the other hand I look at NCAA 12 and their dev team. Grant it, these are college players and you can't update rosters like that for college players. However..........what is stopping them from adding new player animations and tuning the game play AI ?

NCAA 12 dev team don't seem to know what to do with tuner files. They don't use them like they should. Instead this dev team treats tuner files like it is patches. Game been out 2 months and they only released ONE tuner file.

Great waste of opportunity and technology if you ask me. I mean seriouly every day somebody is constantly updating the message of the day every time you turn NCAA 12 on.

So if they are constantly doiing that, why not constantly fine tune your game with tuners ? I mean after all that was the sole purpose of even putting in a tuner file system for the game.

Being a techie, this is sad to see such technology going to waste because it isn't being used to it's full potential.

i thought the same thing with the tuner updates. probley because they are working on ncaa 13 and they think it's usless to work om anything for this years game . i reed that fifa 11 had 7 patches .this also bugs me . cam webber needs to get on the ncaa dev teams a** and get them on some more tuners.

The NCAA team has totally missed the boat on tuner files. If all you ever do is release a tuner file with a patch then there is no point in even doing them. Call EA's NHL team and ask them how it's done.

it seems like ncaa 11 had updates and tuner files a lot more frequently, and the game was fine tuned by the time october came around... this year it doesn't look so promising
