Coach mode by far is the best new feature of NCAA 12. Anybody can have stick skills. Anybody can beat anybody on the planet eventually that way. Takes no skill at all.

Coach mode however is all about the X's and O's. To me it provides more of a challenge. Way higher risk and reward type of game play. In this mode you can clearly see who the studs are on the team and who the busts are. Plus it is a good way to find out who are the diamonds in the rough on your team. A person who might have a low overall rating but might be the best player on your team because of his other ratings.

Nothing is more jaw dropping, finger nail biting experience then coach mode. Where as when you call a play, you honeslty don't know the outcome. It could be 70 yard play or it could be a 5 yard loss. This is the beauty of it. Seeing the struggles of your team on offense and defense.

Makes recruiting even more valuable. In this mode your weakness at a certain position is clearly shown. So therefore you know you will need to recruit a better player to fill that void. Watching your players execute your plays to the letter is jaw dropping. Especially when they break one for a big run.

Hopefully for next year in NCAA 13 they can expand coach mode to allow head to head coach mode play. That would be an awesome dynasty to have, all coach mode.
