1st off let me say, the intro of this game is the best intro I have ever seen on a sports game. To see the man, the legend, Jordan himself walking out the locker room, looking back at you saying, " Are you ready ?" That sent chills down my spine.

Growing up on the westside of Chicago, I was and am a die hard Bulls fan. Seen damn near every Jordan moment. As a kid I remember all those years when the Bulls ran into the brick wall that was the Pistons in the playoffs every year in the 80s.

I remember them finally breaking through that wall. I remember the championships, the celebrations in Grant Park......Anyway on to the game....

Graphically this game is AWESOME. Really is....players and arenas have more detail in them this year. The atmosphere is top notch. There is actually player chatter, a lot of it, so I suggest everybody max out the player chatter volume. Because they aren't just saying random jibberish, they actually giving you clues of what is going on.

If a player is open, they will say who got that man. When somebody is cutting they will say back door. When somebody is caught in a mismatch, they will call out that player name and tell you to give the ball to that player. When you trying to go after a rebound too close to your own player, they will yell out same, meaning they are on your team and you interefering with their rebound.

You will hear the oooooooooooo's and aweeeeeeeeeee's after big plays. When people get hacked driving the lane you will hear them yell. The bench is lively, the coach is lively. People react to everything on the court.

Pro SIM is no joke. I give it a 9/10 on the difficulty meter. No blow outs by you on this level. You got to earn everything, run plays, master the double team, rotation to the weak side. All Star SIM is for the true masters of the game. Better buckle down and FOCUS. It is as real as it gets. HOF SIM.....you must like getting punched in the mouth seriously LOL.

FOCUS on any level is the keyword this year. You must focus. CPU AI defense is very good and will double your best scorer, forcing you to pass the ball. Winging it with 1 on 1 iso's all game long not going to work this year. You must run some plays, swing the ball around.

On defense you must account for EVERYBODY on the court. Simpley double teaming the best player on the team not going to work. Cpu is very good at passing the ball around finding the open man. And they are deadly at passing out of shots too.

They see a mismatch, they will exploit it and keep on doing it until you stop it. Drive and kick game is in full effect. I was floored by how many times I collasped on the driving cpu just to see them kick it out to a wide open person for a spot up 3pt.

Seeing the euro step layups and dunks are a thing of beauty. So are the reverse and hanging dunks. And if you lucky to pull one off, the alley oop off the backboard to a trailer is thing to behold.

Blocks in this game are awesome too. Not simpley because they are blocks, it is all the vairations of blocks that make this game seem so real. You have your subtle blocks and then you have your send it to the crowd blocks. And who don't like seeing a come from behind block a layup or dunk block.

Now lets move to Jordan. It is so much stuff going on in the regular game that I almost forgot about Jordan. Jordan challenge is addicting. But the fun doesn't stop there with Jordan, they have other classic teams as well. Lakers, celtics, pistons, knicks from the 80s. Cavs, Blazers, Suns, Jazz, Sonics from the 90s.

Nothing like playing as the classic teams seeing them do their thing one more time. Whether it is Jordan flying on people, Magic doing sick passes or Bird hitting those treys.....awesome

This year will be the 1st year in a long time that I will do an association. Every game plays different because every team plays different. If I was a kid and could only get one game for christmas, this would be it, hands down.

I would shovel snow up and down the block to get this game. Wash 10 cars.....sit through 3 chick flicks, thats how serious this game is. Honestly I don't know how they can ever top themselves from here on out. Game is so good it's like they hit the ceiling of realness and about the only way they can make the game better is to make it a hologram matrix.

Is this game perfect ? No.......but damn near God like. It is so much awesomeness in this game that the few and I mean few flaws in this game is like comparing a super model to a model..

CPU AI - 10
Atmosphere - 10

This game is so good, it should be taken to every videogame programming class in every school, to every gaming studio and the name of the class should be called, this is how you do it, game making 101.

Game companies need to take note......atmosphere is the number 1 attribute of any game, movie, song or tv show. You got to make people feel it. If something don't move you, don't make you feel in the moment, then it isn't good.

NBA 2k11 makes you feel like your actually in the game. It is so great that even when you get your arse beat, you had fun getting it beat as though you were into BDSM, yelling at the tv spank me some more !

yeah i agree with you if game makes you that u r actually in a game that is really mean a lot, i loves games and like to watch dramas some times and some of dramas make me feel that we r in involve or its just based on our daily life.Nice posting thanks for sharing.....

Yes man nice intro but need for speed intro is too good see the need for speed and both games graphically is too good i love the both games.

yea totally agree with you man, this game is wicked. The intro is seriously the best ever, I wasnt expecting it, I was thinking okay press start go to menu an pick what you want to do, but that was nice playing with some legendary teams. It's gonne take a while to go through everything the game has to offer.

OH...MY...GOODNESS!!! I couldn't agree more with you. I have been a diehard live fan since 1995 and have never given 2k a chance. Since I've been in the top 100 in the Live leaderboards over the past few years and in the top 10 last year, making the switch was a hard decision - but nevertheless a decision I knew I had to make after playing the Elite demo.

I must say, I was impressed with 2k's demo, but I wasn't absolutely blown away. I've never seen a disparity between demo and real game like I've seen with 2k11. The demo is a 7/10 at best. The real game? Off the charts. 20/10. Unbelievable. You said that the intro is the best you've seen in any sports game? I'm going to intensify that statement by saying that the intro is the best one I've seen in ANY video game EVER - period. The graphics and player movement seem like a different game than the demo, and the crowd seems to be more hype as well. And the AI???? WOW!!! I haven't even scratched the surface with what can be done on this game...I haven't even played any of the game modes (just quick game). But man, I am blown away with what I've seen so far. This is the greatest b-ball game ever.

Well let me say that there are some bad like glitches and the computer is a lil cheaty on d sometimes and some animations are arkward and you get canned sometimes and your my player starts to low and the big man jump to high sometimes and you miss some shots you shoulda make even wit perfect releases. Now the good is everything else and i mean everything!!! 9.3/10 for me, besr bball game eva!!
