Posted on June 17, 2010 at 11:38 AM.
For my first blog post, im going to post my "starting point". After starting the season with 5 straight losses, we have managed to reel off 6 straight wins, putting our record at 6-5. My lineup consists of this

1) cf Nyler Morgan
2)ss Cristian Guzman
3)3b Ryan Zimmerman
4) 1b Adam Dunn
5) lf Josh Willingham
6) Ivan Rodriguez
7) 2b Adam Kennedy
8) Lf Willie Harris
9) pitching spot

The only changes are when we have a DH during interleague, I have Alberto Gonzalez batting 8th moving Willie to 9th.

My pitching rotation:

Josh Johnson (spring training trade with Marlins)
Stephen Strasburg
John Lannan
Scott Olsen
Livan Hernandez

LRP Jason Bergman
LRP Jason Marquis
MRP Sean Burnett
MRP Tyler Clippard
MRP Drew Storen
MRP Tyler Walker
SU Joe Nelson (claimed off waivers from Red Sox)
CL Matt Capps

Like I said we are currently 6-5, and here are my flames and lames:

Flames:
Ryan Zimmerman: hitting .489 with 4 hr and 11 rbi through 11 games
Josh Johnson: 1-0 with a 3 era, 18 k's through 3 starts

Lames:

Thanks. I just need to get a solid younger starter, and josh is top 10 in my book, plus i played against him in hs and he was a stud then too

I had picked up Jermaine Dye on a 1 year contract to play rf for us and give a little more bat, but i found during spring training we needed a top starter, so i packaged him with a AA b level propect for josh

oh man if you could have kept Dye on your team and got josh it would be great i love Jermaine and im an Indians fan

Yeah Dye is definatly a great hitter, amazing he hasnt landed this year, but The Marlins seemed balls deep in love with him, so i tacked on a lil something more and they bit

hey there you go thats all you need somebody to be in love with him. If he doesnt retire in my 'chise i might have to sign him who knows

In real life if Dye would take less $$ he would be playing.
