5 Worst QB's
Posted on November 30, 2009 at 10:41 AM.
After 12 weeks I feel confident in giving out my list of the leagues 5 worst quarterbacks.

5: Jason Campbell
-Jason Campbell has had several years to prove himself. Right now, this is as good as he will get.
4: Mark Sanchez
-With as many weapons offensively availalbe and a all-pro front line, there's no way Sanchez should be doing this badly.
3: Jay Cutler
-No excuses for this guy. He's probably the most overrated quarterback in the league.
2: Jake Delhomme
-His time has come and gone.
1: JaMarcus Russell
-While I do feel Russell has tremendous upside, currently he's the worst quarterback in the league. How do you get benched for Bruce G?

Great List...Though you will get some argument for Jason Campbell not having any decent receivers and Mark Sanchez is just young...Oh yea I'm from Cleveland and we have a couple that could easily take Campbell's and Sanchez's place on the list.

Good point on Campbell, but I just don't see him as getting any better. True, the Browns do have 2 pretty bad QB's, but I attribute that to just an overall bad system and lack of player unity. They just don't care. Derek Anderson had one fantastic season so I believe he does have the talent, but Quinn is also pretty bad. He's been flip flopped back and forth from starter to 2nd string. I don't feel he's been given the proper chance to show what he can do (if anything at all).

Sanchez in my eye's will be a 2nd string QB at best. I remember watching him at USC and, while he played well, he also had tremendous talent around him within a great college system.

I would throw in Anderson/Quinn Combo over Campbell...He has no running game and is on his 5th cordinator in 5 years

Good list, but keep in mind Jamarcus is no longer a starter. If you were to look at this year's production one of the brown's qb's or cutler should take the top spot.

How do you list someone on a top 5 worst list and call them overrated? That's quite a contradiction.

Huh? He means Cutler's performance has made him one of the worst QB's. He is overrated IMO as well, sure he has flashes of genius but at the end of the day the guy can be pretty bad. Just like Mr.Tony Romo, can't stand that guy.

Gamer23, this list is just looking from the outside. Of course noone know's what happens on the inside but the player. But who cares? We'll never know, so all we can look at is what we can see.

Campbell needs time to develop? He's had 5 years, his window is closed.
Russell and Sanchez are young and have time to turn things around, but RIGHT NOW they are less than good.
Cutler was never very good, even in Denver. He had the luck of playing on a very solid team. Now he's playing on an average Bears team and is showing his true colors.

Regardless, as fans we have to look at things from the outside. I'm sorry you don't approve but that is my list.

Oh and yeah, I would be on top of that list, what the hell does that have to do with anything?

gamer23 this is just a blog and not sportscenter, take it easy... He has the right to state his opinion! And by the way, the argument about gambetti's abilities as a QB is as relevant to the discussion as the matter of global warming...
