Wildcard Weekend
Welcome to the post season! We have 12 teams that have proven to be good enough to make it to the playoffs and now it's time to find out which one is the best. This week we have the 8 Wildcard teams playing each other for a ticket to the Divisional round. Here we go!

Detailed Recap:

The first wildcard game was the Cleveland Browns @ San Diego Chargers. The Browns got off to a great start stopping the Chargers and going up 7-0 early. The Chargers were able to take the lead and put some distance between them 24-7. The Browns managed to get back into the game, but the Chargers held them off and won 31 to 28.

The second wilcard game takes us to Atlanta where the Falcons took on the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles looked like they shouldn't have been there as the Falcons let them have it. Atlanta ended up winning 34 to 14.

The next game had the New Orleans Saints visiting the NFC East Division Champions Dallas Cowboys. The Saints didn't let that stop them as they became the first team to win on the road in this playoffs 37 to 24.

Our final wildcard game is a week 16 rematch between the #6 seed Miami Dolphins visiting the #3 seed New England Patriots. The Dolphins had a strong game the first 3 quarters, and just had to try their best to hold onto their 10 point lead. In typical Patriot fashion, the Patriots managed to rally back and pick up the win over Miami with a touchdown late in the 4th quarter. 34-27

Next week we will have the San Diego Chargers @ Pittsburgh Steelers & New England Patriots @ Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC. In the NFC we will have the New Orleans Saints @ Los Angeles Rams & Atlanta Falcons @ Green Bay Packers.

Playoff Schedule:
For the playoffs, my usual schedule will not apply. Below are the playoff rounds and the dates that they will be "played" and posted:

Wildcard Weekend: Tuesday, January 29th
Divisional Round: Thursday, January 31st
Championship Sunday: Saturday, February 2nd
SuperBowl XIII: Monday, February 4th
